Urgent Action Needed to Support Ohio Election Investigations
December 06, 2004

Greetings!

We've been hearing a lot from the grassroots about the Ohio Election.  You
spoke and we listened.  We have been in Washington, D.C., communicating
this need to Congress.  John Conyers (D-MI) has now spearheaded an effort
to bring Congressional attention to the Ohio issues. As a result, there
will be an ad-hoc hearing of the House Minority Judiciary Committee this
Wednesday, December 8th, at 10 am. This hearing is devoted to examining the
voter irregularities and potential voter suppression in Ohio.

In response to our base's desire to act, and act quickly, we now have two
action alerts on the front page of our website.  Go there now, and you'll
find two alerts.  The first gives you the tools to urge your Representative
to attend the hearings this Wednesday.  The second alert is crafted so you
can communicate to your local media that you want to see more coverage of
