In the seventies we toured the country with our Folksay Americana Show (With Grandpa Walton) doing benefits for the AARP to fundraise and attract new membership as we did in the past for the union cause. Membership went from about a few hundred thousand in the early seventies to nearly twenty million by the late seventies.
